Inbox
The Inbox is the bell icon beside your profile menu. It is a short feed of updates about your library.
Each user has their own Inbox state. All users share one library, but read, saved, and dismissed items belong to each user.
What appears
Section titled “What appears”- Albums from library artists released in the last 30 days or due in the next 90 days
- Upcoming shows for library artists, when Ticketmaster is configured
- News about library artists, from RSS feeds
- News about recommended artists, from RSS feeds
- New artist discoveries from Discover
When unread items exist, the Inbox icon turns green. Select an item to open its page and mark it as read. The item stays in the Inbox with less emphasis. From an artist or release page, you can add the artist or album to your library.
To remove an item, select Remove from inbox. To show one category, use the filter button. The list scrolls when it has more items than fit on the screen.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”An admin turns each Inbox category on or off in the Inbox section of Settings > Connect. The Ticketmaster settings are in the same tab.
News is optional. To turn it on, open Settings > RSS news. This page lists Aurral’s built-in RSS feeds. You can turn feed groups on or off, and add or remove your own feeds. Aurral merges the enabled feeds and matches stories to library and recommended artist names.
Aurral refreshes every Inbox once a day. It checks the RSS feeds every 15 minutes.
